Sadly it's true. Nordstrom seems to not be able to handle certain stores (like the ones in Canada) so they think it's better to close them then continue to mismanage them. Those stores include the San Francisco ones. That's just sad.

This was such a nonsense closing in my humble opinion. Out of all the bad Nordstrom stores out there, this one just didn't deserve to be closed. It was perfectly fine and I still don't know why they had to cut Redondo Beach...

I didn't know that Nordstrom closed in the Mall of San Juan in Puerto Rico. If I remember correctly the store closed temporarily and reopen again but it seems it closed for good after all. Am I wrong or? Which other locations have closed?

When Nordstrom said that they would make adjustments to their business model I didn't imagine them closing stores permanently... this is so very distressing. Sixteen of their stores will be closed in New Jersey. What will happen to the employees?

Nordstrom is extending their store closings well into April. Who else is completely not surprised by these news? In a semi-chaotic times like these, this is only to be expected from a retailer and especially if that retailer is Nordstrom.

No wonder all of this is happening to Nordstrom. They lost their market sense long ago and they are now out of touch with customers and our needs. Shuttering popular and well-loved stores will not do them any good now.

Seems another Nordstrom is abandoning its mall location, such a shame. They made a calculated decision with this closure and we have to live with it. The Mall at Partridge Creek will be left without this Nordstrom this fall.

That's what's the rumor - it kind of makes sense with the rents going through the roof nobody can afford so much space in West LA. We'll see how things play out, I am not sure if there was anyone who got insider info yet.
