How is East Frankfort doing? Was the Save A Lot closing on Versailles Road closed two months ago worth it now that it created a food desert? Was that issue ever resolved? I know that Save A Lot doesn't care.

Anyone have any clue when the closure of the Save-A-Lot happen? It was a nice addition to Bridgeton a few years back so I'm confused why they left that spot.
Well, I saw this closing coming and I can't say that I feel sorry for them either. The Save A Lot on 698 Peoria St in Aurora wasn't the best Save A Lot location and if they just managed it better they wouldn't have closed it permanently last year... — read more

I liked it much more better than the old Safeway that was there before but now it looks that even Save A Lot couldn't survive in that location @ 514 Rhode Island Ave NE in Washington DC. Huge, huge bummer that it closed when it did.
Sometimes I couldn't believe how that location failed to have a full inventory at times but despite those shortcomings I don't want it to close! It's creating a huge issue for West Side. Food deserts are something we should take seriously and... — read more
Man I didn't know that this closing had happened. What a stupid thing to do but I guess that's just my own biased opinion as a customer. They did it for business reasons of course but in my opinion, no Save-A-Lot should be closing and especially... — read more
Won't lie, the quality of this Save A Lot went down the drain this year. At least the employees were still friendly and helpful like they always are. Despite my critiques, however, I feel bad about the closure on 27117 John R Road.
It seems that Save-A-Lot is closing next week and that is especially concerning because the location that they're closing in is losing yet another place to do their grocery shopping in. We must always be wary of such things and I hope that... — read more

Did anyone else see the announcement that Save A Lot in Buckhannon is going to close this weekend? I am so distraught by the news I don't know what to do with myself. The store at 203 S Kanawha St is perfect in every way. It can't close on May 16th. — read more

Save-A-Lot hasn't been hit that, let's be real here. The impact that that this coronavirus has been having on other retailers is staggering. Some are closing all stores and aren't sure if they will ever re-open again. Scary stuff.
God I feel so terribly stupid and dense for not knowing this sooner. Did anybody else found out quite too late that the Save-A-Lot store in Bronzeville closed last month at 4701 S. Cottage Grove Ave? It closed on March 13th.
do you delivery grocery's and if you do how many miles do you go
I know a couple haven't which is strange to me. Only interested in California myself.
It seems that evidently the Save-A-Lot store in Cincinnati at 4145 Apple St had shuttered in the past couple of months. It may have even shuttered even earlier than that but I cannot confirm that. Sadly it's closed either way.
I found out too late that the Save A Lot in Jacksonville closed last month. I wanted to give my thanks for the folk who worked there. Always helped my clumsy a– out whenever I needed assistance with anything at the 9742 Old St Augustine Rd store. — read more
The owner is retiring and so there was no need to renew the expiring lease on the Greensburg store. I honestly wish him well and that he can enjoy his retirement in peace. The store on E Pittsburgh Street served us all well.
It's closing this weekend on Saturday.
The store is closing this week on Sunday. I did not expect this to happen at all but maybe in hindsight I should have. However, even I did know that it would close beforehand - what good would it have done? The store at 1826 S Saginaw Road in... — read more
We must expect a particular store closure this month. I don't know if any other Save A Lot stores will be closing this month but I know that the Save A Lot in Auburn at 23-27 Seminary St is going to be gone on March 21st.
Not the best but certainly not the worst store either.
While not the best Save A Lot store in Virginia it was still a good, serviceable store that served the Collinsville community well enough. The rumor is that the rent is too high so they're closing but I think there's other factors at play beside... — read more

Save A Lot has closed here in Elmira. No skin off of my back, I was never that fond of their stores. However I do see their value and I found them useful, so I guess it's an unfortunate thing that its not open anymore.
This store is sadly no longer open for business. They have closed sometime last year I think. I don't think that they have lasted that long in that area. They should have stayed open for a little while longer at the very least...
This was a good store so I just don't get why the need to shutter it. I think it was reasonably well visited, it had customers there every day. I suppose that just wasn't enough, right? It made money, just not enough money.
Save-A-Lot shuttered this store. I can't remember when though. Anyone know when their last day was? Disappointing that they're gone though. I like the chain well enough but something isn't working out for them lately so they're shuttering stores.
What rotten luck this Save A Lot store had. It held so much promise but that didn't mean much in the end when it closed in Columbia. Real shame. It really is. Wish them employees a good life. Good sort of folk. Hard-working.
South Dover has one less Save A Lot. Come to think of it, I think it's the only one. I think? In any case the Bay Court Plaza shopping center no longer has a Save A Lot. I wonder if it will be replaced by anything anytime soon.
