I liked it much more better than the old Safeway that was there before but now it looks that even Save A Lot couldn't survive in that location @ 514 Rhode Island Ave NE in Washington DC. Huge, huge bummer that it closed when it did.

Save-A-Lot hasn't been hit that, let's be real here. The impact that that this coronavirus has been having on other retailers is staggering. Some are closing all stores and aren't sure if they will ever re-open again. Scary stuff.

God I feel so terribly stupid and dense for not knowing this sooner. Did anybody else found out quite too late that the Save-A-Lot store in Bronzeville closed last month at 4701 S. Cottage Grove Ave? It closed on March 13th.

I know a couple haven't which is strange to me. Only interested in California myself.

It seems that evidently the Save-A-Lot store in Cincinnati at 4145 Apple St had shuttered in the past couple of months. It may have even shuttered even earlier than that but I cannot confirm that. Sadly it's closed either way.

I found out too late that the Save A Lot in Jacksonville closed last month. I wanted to give my thanks for the folk who worked there. Always helped my clumsy a– out whenever I needed assistance with anything at the 9742 Old St Augustine Rd store. — read more 

The owner is retiring and so there was no need to renew the expiring lease on the Greensburg store. I honestly wish him well and that he can enjoy his retirement in peace. The store on E Pittsburgh Street served us all well.

It's closing this weekend on Saturday.
