Since the pandemic began they have permanently shortened hours and now they've moved from a 2 floor store down to 1 floor. When I walked through last week they barely had any shows on display. I've been worried for them.

Saks Fifth Avenue is preparing to file for a bankruptcy filing and you know what? I don't feel any type of way regarding those news. Is it callous? Perhaps. But they never were a chain that I liked in the first place so there.

Things just didn't work out for them, did they? Saks Fifth Avenue's plans for their men's store at Brookfield Place in Manhattan. Customers just weren't into it (me included) and everyone prefers online shopping anyways.

This caught my eye almost immediately. Almost everything is 80% off at the Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth at the Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass mall in Simpsonville. I was told that they would be closing in a couple of weeks on January 18. Very sad.

The company must have struggled in Wisconsin for them to close their only store there in that location. It might not have been the best that Wauwatosa had to offer but I really liked them myself and so did my friends. We have until September to shop... — read more

I doubt this Saks 5th Avenue is doing well - they never have shoppers I thought they may close in 2017. But I know that they sell high margin items that are pricey, so maybe they do not have volume and they are compensating on the pricing and margin... — read more 

I saw a claim that Saks Fifth Avenue never closes but that's not correct, just look for store closures for Saks on the internet you will see many examples
