I met my dearest friend in that IHOP. We bumped into each other and since that day we have been inseparable. It wasn't the best IHOP in Portsmouth but it still feels weird that the Frederick Blvd place is gone for good now.

A lot of people hated the Ewa Beach IHOP. I was there once and the food was great. What else do you want? I swear, people just love to complain.
IHOP closed on E Main St a few months ago and I can't help but feel bad. I know it wasn't the best IHOP but I found it irresistible. I should blame IHOP for my weight gain.
Really curious as to why IHOP closed in San Antonio. The 1227 NE Loop 410 IHOP wasn't the best, true. But it was always busy.
I never liked IHOP (or I just liked Waffle House waaaay better than IHOP) but the company hit the jackpot with the Shelby location on Dixon Boulevard. My wife thinks I'm crazy but I liked that place. Yeah the service was a bit slow but the food was... — read more
It's pretty disheartening to see IHOP close their restaurant like that. Like, not even considering to reopen it once the pandemic passes? That's like, harsh. IHOP in Christiansburg on Peppers Ferry Road closed last month and that was the last time it... — read more
Yikes. All these formerly popular IHOP locations are closing this year and I feel so bad about it. Gastonia's IHOP closed on April 16th and a spokesperson said that they had no intentions on reopening that location, which is a shame.
IHOP had a rough couple of years. I thought that - coronavirus aside - IHOP could have risen from the ashes and be born anew in 2020 but that's not the case it seems. Their location in Kingsport in Tennessee closed this year and lord knows how many... — read more
The Burlington NC location is open but for how long? I think that by now it probably needs to close at least temporarily. I know it's a hard thing to do, but if everyone else does it why not IHOP? They will be back and open up again after this... — read more
So it looks like that IHOP has closed at this location on 1920 W. Bell Road in Phoenix. This IHOP wasn't that great. Don't know what to tell you. I was a fan of IHOP in the past but lately their quality hasn't been like it was before.
It is still upsetting to this day that the IHOP at this location has closed so abruptly. What happened to the employees here? Did they get severance or perhaps the option for transfer? I know how hard it is to get a job after your restaurant closes. — read more
I don't understand people who go to eat at IHOP and order anything but breakfast items. Everybody and their grandma knows that those dishes aren't their specialty so why complain when they don't end up edible? Just order your pancakes and... — read more
Everything about this IHOP was amazing except for the customer service. I don't know what kind of luck I'm having but lately I had the worst experiences with IHOP's customer service including their Clearwater restaurant in Florida. Despite my... — read more
Is there a possibility for upcoming closures in IHOP?
I remember reading about layoffs happening - or at least, threatening to happen - at IHOP last month and I am curious to hear if anything came out of that? I left IHOP years ago but I still have friends who work at my former restaurant. I would hate... — read more
I have mixed, complicated feelings on the Irvine IHOP. When they were bad, they were really bad. But when they were good, they were fantastic. The IHOP at Jamboree Rd would serve the best breakfast in the world - when they wanted to. Too bad... — read more
I simply adored their pancakes. I wish I asked for their recipe before they have closed. And, I know, I know. IHOP can very well be a hit or miss, but I liked their restaurant in Santa Clara CA (on Stevens Creek Blvd).
I am not a fan of other IHOP restaurants but this one was really good. Their breakfast menu at this Adel location was one of the best I have ever had! It closed a few months ago. I think it was unnecessary, personally.
Do you have more info on this? Why is this ihop closed - I am calling and nobody picks up... Hmmm...

They have really cut the size and amount of food you get in Kingman..Bullhead give far better service and proportions???
IHOPs are closing. So, more sad news from corporate America. I especially liked the prairie-themed IHOPs, the ones that allowed the natural prairie grasses on their property to grow wild. Gonna miss 'em.
Please let the IHOP in our neighborhood be one that closes. We can't even get the id–ts to cut their lawn ... and don't know what took so long for Applebees ... TERRIBLE food (even for this glutinous culture).
Are they really gonna be able close IHOP.
It's not that great. I used to go there as a Kid, here in Irvine. Now they are just old, I am not sure if I'd want to bring my kids with me.
Do you really need to close this store - that's what I have heard for Harlingen.
IHOP closed down the restaurant in Irvine, CA. The place was bad and old. Bathrooms needed to be repaired and the whole place needed remodeling. Not surprised they closed it.
When is this going to happen - are employees get a chance to transfer?
I would not be surprised if this store was to close. Seriously, it's so old and tired. Closing it would do it a favor so employees can move on.
Not sure why, but that's a bummer. I used to go there when I was a kid and now it's closed.
