Each time a bookstore closes my heart breaks a tiny bit. It's time we support our bookstores financially. We can't let them close like it's just another retail store. They aren't. They are special and should be cherished.

Cuyahoga Falls BAM! Closed, but Harbor Freight Opening in Its Place
Just noticed last week that Bam had closed, but sign in its place said Hatbor Freight coming soon. What makes this totally bizarre is that it is directing IN FRONT of Home Depot!

Not sure what changed but Books-A-Million just isn't the same anymore. Whenever I hear them closing a store I get a pang of sadness that quickly fades away and then I just shrug. How depressing.

Visited the BAM store in Alexandria, LA today (2020-11-16)and it was closed. The sign said it was closed due to the storm. It appeared that much of the merchandise at least in the front of the store was gone. Is this store closed permanently?

I am always so devastated and enraged to see a bookstore shutter. It makes me feel so depressed, I hate when that happens. This Books A Million has shuttered some time ago and I still feel strongly about it. Didn't need to happen.
