Just me?

Is anyone else deeply concerned about the closings that have happened with BAM these last couple of years? Is it just me? I surely hope not. I have a feeling that the literacy rate in this country has taken a nosedive and all these bookstores that... — read more

Open, thankfully

It's good to see it still standing. I was afraid that it, too, would close. Just like every other bookstore it seems lately. I thought bookstores would be safe because "BookTok" is such a huge trend lately but I was grossly mistaken. Online book... — read more

Worry about BAM

Worrying about the state of BAM lately. I'm fearing that more bookstores will close. And that in the end only couple of them will be left

BAM store shuttering in January

It looks like Books-A-Million couldn't compete with Amazon and its ilk. The store will be shuttering for good in January, though the exact date isn't revealed as of yet. The Town Square North store in Owensboro is well beloved. It is by me at least. — read more
