There was a store closing recently. Books-A-Million/BAM! closed one of their stores and it's no surprise. They are not the only bookseller that is facing issues like these, sadly.
Since last month BAM! is no longer operating in the Mall of Monroe in Monroe, MI.
I read somewhere that eBooks won't be a downfall of physical books anytime soon. It's simple as people just preferring the sensation of having a real book in their hands rather than the opposite. So in BAM!'s case I think Amazon is the only problem.
BAM! Can't compete with Amazon. Or eBooks for that matter. Which is the same thing I suppose.
