I'd like to see if someone would be able to share a list with all stores that Gap and Banana Republic are planning to close in 2017 and 2018. There was an announcement today about massive closures, I think they are closing about 200 stores. That'll be one of the biggest store closures of all time and Gap/BR will be affected big time. More will be invested into Old Navy and Athleta as they are making money.
I am really puzzled why everyone is saying that the economy is doing great and there is no unemployment. But look, there are 100s of chains that are closing 1000s of stores and that's a bad sign. Just look here on this site, you will see that messages come in daily and each one of them tells you that there are a ton of stores that are closing.
Why are people believing that the economy is good! Lies!!!
