Kmart Memories

One of my earliest memories is going to the Kmart store in my neighborhood with my grandpa. It was a rather simple bonding experience compared to what other kids did with their grandparents (visiting amusement parks, going to the movies and so on) but I loved it. He passed away two years ago. It hurt.

I noticed that Kmart has been disappearing as time progressed. Closing stores and everything. It's a strange feeling seeing something that was such a big part of your childhood just cease to exist. I guess that's life.

@ekc+19dOgySB Thank you. At least we still have the memories of those days.

@OP+19dOgySB sorry to hear about your grandpa. I recently visited the town I grew up in, barely recognized it. So many memories from places that don't even exist anymore. Just like you said, I guess that's life.
