The Verizon Wireless on 601 Donald Ly--h Blvd closed three years ago if anyone was wondering.
People always fuss if the stores will close. So what if they close? You would be hard-pressed to find a decent location of theirs. Totally useless.
Is it just me or there aren't that many Verizon Wireless stores like there used to be? It must be just my imagination...
To clarify: The 10031 71st store (71st & HWY 169) AKA The Woodland Hills location

The large amount of vacant retail spaces is incredibly concerning. Verizon's closing at 1125 Light St. in Federal Hill a few days ago sadly only added to that number even more. There are two other Verizons nearby if they're needed: Halethorpe and... — read more
There is not much to say about this location, pretty usual Verizon store but I must say that their customer service was out of this world. They had the loveliest people working there so it's a bummer to learn that they closed this Manhattan Valley... — read more
Verizon has left the Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg Pennsylvania and I feel like even more stores will follow. It's so sad to see malls go under. It's like seeing your childhood be broken into pieces - hasn't everyone at one point or another hung... — read more

Who may get the real estate. If they ever decide to close Verizon Wireless.
I've seen a ton of rumors that VZ may be closing locations - they want to outsource all store work. I dont know, but hey, it's a great thing that they are dropping prices. Hey, it's 2017, cannot blame anyone for this.
I strongly suggest that you consider moving to TMOBILE if VZ gives you no love - they used to have the best customer service, but now TMOBILE is just better - they are less expensive and they have better quality
people working there just don't care about customers
How reliable is this info? Laying off CSRs?
T mobile is closing some stores, VZ is not closing stores
Do you have more detail - do they plan to have third party stores replace VZ stores?
By now you know that the cell phone & cell phone service market has reached kind of saturation. The day of the retail store are over - why we would have stores run exclusively by the carriers themselves... Today that business model stands on shaky... — read more
I've seen some stores closed, but I am curious to hear if this is a planned approach...
