To me Johnstown suffered a huge blow when the Salvation Army store on Eisenhower Boulevard closed on March 1st. 20 years of serving the community and the people who need it the most. Gone now. How depressing.

The Salvation Army did their best but that's just not enough these days. Its Family Store and Donation Center in Bradley Illinois will shutter for good on May 1st. I feel really bad about this because that store was open only for 5 years.

The Salvation Army admitted that their Rutland store in Vermont is not making enough money and therefore they are going out of business. They will shutter in November. How depressing... at least they did the best they could with that store.
