Is Fresh Market an "essential" business?

Fresh Market at 520 Whitehall Road is closing. While they were undoubtedly on the pricier side of things - compared to their competition - their stuff was of the highest possible quality and that's something their competition could not boast of.

While there has been no official reason given as to why they had to close the store on Johnson Ferry Road, I think it is safe to assume that the Marietta location wasn't profitable enough for Fresh Market anymore.

Fifteen stores will be closing soon, across nine states. Fresh Market might have outlasted many other retailers, but I guess even we are not immune to the growing power of ecommerce. Good luck to all affected by this.

Is the Fresh Market In Destin Closing?.

They are in about 30 states so far, and they are handling things fairly well. Things can always be better, but at least no store closing for now in any of the regions, I live in Georgia but I know they are good in South Carolina as well.
