Save A Lot at 1100 Revere Beach Pkwy shuttered in Chelsea. I liked that store well enough. Though I do have to mention that it was never organized well. Very messy. But other people say that the store was orderly. So what gives? Did I catch them on a... — read more
I just got the info too, it's so sad!!!
I was informed that my favorite grocery store, Sav A Lot in Benton, Ar is closing its doors in mid December. To me, as a shopper, it brings me sad news, as I have shopped there for 15 years or so. I thought they were doing a great business, so dunno... — read more
This was my Save-A-Lot. I was always buying anything and everything I needed here. It's slightly sad that they have closed. It's just a store so I'm not too emotional about it but it's still a little bit sad. I can't help it.
What's with these Save-A-Lot closings lately? Is it just me or did they get worse this year? They have left their Fenton location at 1001 Majestic Dr some time ago for example. I'm curious to see what will happen with the chain in 2020.
After more than a decade of business in Parsons, Save-A-Lot went ahead and decided to end their business on 300 Main with a closing. I expected this a long time ago, so this didn't surprise me. I never saw that store be open in 2020.
The Save A Lot in Kent (their store at 1430 S. Water St.) has closed over the weekend. I had no idea until I tried - and failed - to buy some groceries today. I thought it was worth noting. Though nobody noticed that Save A Lot in the first... — read more
The prices is definitely what k–led this Save-A-Lot. I can excuse high prices to some degree but they better be paired with high quality produces then. The thing is, that wasn't the case with this Save-A-Lot. It probably closed because of that. — read more
Dang, this was one bad store. Something must have gone terribly wrong with this Save-A-Lot that it ended up this, well, terrible. Maybe it could have been a better location with different management? I don't know.
Buffalo's Riverside neighborhood will lose their only full-service grocery store once the Save A Lot at 284 Ontario Street closes next week on Monday. This doesn't sound too dire, unless there are no plans to open another grocery store... — read more
A new supermarket opened this month and it replaced the Save A Lot that had closed at 811 W. Seventh St. in Joplin Missouri. I welcome the new store but I still really miss the Save A Lot. It closed in June but it feels like it was there just... — read more
store closing in cedar hill mo. 63016?
Save-A-Lot is shuttering tomorrow. Our Millville store at 700 N. High St has its fate sealed and it will be gone forever. We were given no reason for why they had to shutter that location and it is, frankly, rather aggravating.
I know that it was a hard thing to do for Save-A-Lot to go and close this store last month like the way they did, but it is still not something I would consider acceptable. It was a good store and it could have stayed open.
WHY DID THE AMSTERDAM STORE CLOSE SO SOON.
Why did Savalot at Gratiot & Frahzo in Roseville, Mi. close?
Saw the sav a lot closed, Why?
Supposedly the closing of the store was planned long beforehand, even before the announcement that it will close this week on Saturday. Don't know why it is happening in the first place. Save-A-Lot really shouldn't leave Mount Airy, NC. We need... — read more
I have noticed how many Save-A-Lot stores are closing lately for one reason or the other (or no reason at all!!!) and I hope that the Save-A-Lot in Umatilla won't be following in their footsteps. What the community doesn't need is for their... — read more
I was a bit stunned to learn that the Save A Lot at 550 S Church St shuttered last Saturday. Do they not understand that now a lot of people are left without any grocers nearby because they lack transportation? My aunt lives in Spartanburg and... — read more
This was probably one of the worst things to happen to our community in a long time. The Save-A-Lot in Fenton was the best store in Missouri, period. When we saw it close this June it felt like a Twilight Zone moment. Why close such a... — read more
So a vote has finally been made: the Save A Lot on Harden Street will be closing this week. Columbia Housing Authority chose to close the store and this will frankly affect the community only negatively... in my opinion at least.
why does save-a-lot have a habit of closing in areas that could soon become a food desert because of their closure? don't they have any heart? don't they think of the elderly or people otherwise incapable of travelling towards the "nearest" grocery... — read more
Will my supermarket be closing? I'm not the only one who is concerned, all of my neighbors are wondering this too. It's the Save-A-Lot Columbia in South Carolina. The shelves are half empty and things aren't looking good from where I am standing.
I hope another grocery store or supermarket opens in their neighborhood soon because I can tell that the closure of the Roanoke Save-A-Lot is impacting a lot of people rather negatively. Nobody likes when they have zero options for shopping.
Did corporate ever make any good decisions? If someone has any examples please come forward with them. I need any positivity I can find. They closed my Save A Lot store in South Strabane Township and while I'm going to be alright, this still s—s if... — read more
What will the good folk of Roanoke do now that their Save-A-Lot has closed this week? They do not have another grocer nearby. I take this personally because this had happened in my community as well. We also only had dollar stores (until a new... — read more
What happened here? This was one of the best grocery stores in Taft, I am genuinely surprised that it is not open for business anymore. Sure it wasn't the best store in all the world but still, they did their job really good!

Not the best Save A Lot if my memory serves me well. Still, sad it got closed. No idea when though. Does someone know?
