The store in Spartanburg closing means the community will lose a grocery store ... AGAIN. Piggly Wiggly has been put up for closing. It maybe even closed already. All I know is that Spartanburg keeps losing this grocery store battle.

It has been closed for good in Aurora. I don't know why it closed but it sure is quite the shame.

The Piggly Wiggly in Algoma was such a nice store. I realize that not a lot of folks would agree with me on that statement but I still believe it's true. The store was nice and the closure shouldn't have occurred at all.

Shockingly Piggly Wiggly ended up closing in Montgomery Alabama and the other nearest grocery store other than this one is almost an hour away. This will create such an unnecessary inconvenience to everyone affected by this.

The competition was too strong and the footprint for this store was too low. Piggly Wiggly closing this week on July 4th is expected. Sad it had to come to this. It's said 30 people worked at this store as well. Hope they find better jobs soon. — read more

This is solid, Piggly Wiggly is one of the best managed companies out there - just look at their profits - I can say for sure Piggly Wiggly has no plans to close stores in 2017

Come and shop here. It's not closed at all and it's a fairly good and well supplied store.
