It's been a while since the store closed but we still miss it in our neighborhood.

Shame about this store. Wonder when it stopped being open however, any clues? I can't remember myself but then again I had a head injury so my memory isn't as good as it once was.

It happened long ago too but I guess it's nice to reminiscence once in a while about a store. I loved their sales and their inventory was always top notch.

The Akron store was clean and well-organized - I couldn't say the same of some of the other stores in the area! I still can't believe the store has closed. It felt like it was yesterday when I went in to check if they got a sale going on.

One of the better San Diego locations has gone out of business.

All of them have closed.

Sad to say all stores have closed, but the loss especially is felt in San Diego in my opinion. All great stores have closed.

Got my best pair of shoes ever in this store.

Payless is having trouble. Layoffs in the home office, closing locations. Abandoning intl. expansion.

They may fold like Wet Seal a few weeks back - no cash. Mall traffic dropping. Everyone closing stores. I'd hate to own property in malls now.
