Dover Lone Star shuttered. Very sad they were a great steakhouse.

Very sad to see it go.

The steakhouse was great but you need luck and divine intervention if you want to succeed in the food industry.

It just wasn't meant to be. It had to close after customers started disappearing

I forgot about this place, to tell the truth. If my memory serves me well it was an above average Lone Star.

This is a really sad event for me... I know it's kinda old news by now but I loved this restaurant a lot. Great ambiance and the food was even better.

It's too bad. You can never have too many steakhouses in my opinion and Lone Star had one of the best.

The Monroe place is closed, as expected. Really sad. I hoped against hope that it might remain open but of course, that was never an option.

It's still a bummer that this place has closed. I miss it dearly.

I completely forgot that it closed. Huh. It was a great steakhouse.

The chain was the best steakhouse in the country and nothing you say could change my mind about that.

I am not shedding any tears over this closing myself, though I do understand why some might like the Lone Star Steakhouse in Mount Vernon. That one was simply not for me so when they closed this year all I did was shrug. There are better steakhouses... — read more

Pretty c-appy, should have given these employees some notice so they could find other jobs. One server just moved to Iowa to take care of her Aunt who is ill and now has no job!!

Anyone knows for sure - they never pick up the phone, I am getting a busy signal. What are the closing hours here? I am not saying the restaurant is closing, so no confusion.

How could a company that has best steaks around close any restaurants/ I dare you…. They will have great future - simply put - it's all about food and meat and they are doing a really good job with that at Lone Star
