I'm surprised people even remember it these days. Now mind you I'm not complaining. That's a good thing you know! That people remember La Perla. But, do people still shop here? That's the real question that needs answering.

Wrong crowd
La Perla marketed itself to the wrong crowd. The crowd that doesn't give a flying sh-t about brands whether they be designer or not. Probably why it closed.
La Perla Beats Everyone on Quality
No closings for La Perla - they add more stores. As a brand they are amazing, they have quality that nobody else has. I am not aware of any plans to massively close stores, they may close a store or two just to relocate them.
