I can't remember when this occurred precisely but the undeniable fact is that the store never performed that well and it had to close eventually in the end anyways. The store itself was fine it's just that it had bad luck and you simply can't outrun... — read more
J Crew closing at San Francisco Centre mall like Hollister is
Hollister already closed a store there and J Crew has been reported to be closing as well - though J Crew has yet to confirm this but I think they will close too.

Portland, J.Crew To Close
Since the Pioneer Place store underperformed it will be closed later this month on Jan 22. From what I understand the other stores within the Portland area will remain open, which is a small mercy to be sure. Hopefully those stores won't underperform... — read more
J CREW in Sherman Oaks is no more... Closed...
Let's be honest for a moment. The store was a mess 24/7 but it had a lot of charm. Everyone loved it. And everyone was sad to learn it closed. Big loss for all of us in our little neck of the woods.
Just because some folk complained about it, it doesn't mean that it has a bad reputation.
@7dht+1hzaEXmk It's decent, I suppose. Messy, though.
I never knew that it had a bad rep. The store seems fine.
Why does this store get such a bad rep?
I love it! Sure it's not the best. But it ain't the worst either!
No, it won't be closing.
No!
Why would it be shocking? The signs were there. You just chose not to see them.
Confusing J. CREW closing
Call me naive if you must but it's very shocking to me that the J. CREW closed in Birmingham. Why did that happen? Was the closing really necessary?
Sadly closed
This store was great. One of the better ones in Baton Rouge at least.
sad
J.CREW closed in SF
The store is closed FYI but I bet everyone knows that by now. It's been closed for a couple of years now.
Oakbrook store closure
The J.Crew on 295 Oakbrook Ctr closed down this year... and I can't say that I'm much surprised. If you have ever been to that J.Crew, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. The staff seemed very disinterested in the customers, the layout of... — read more
J.Crew location closed on Jan 24
Crew closed on Jan 24 in Columbia when the chain left the Trenholm Plaza store in Forest Acres. Their bankruptcy is to blame. I think many more stores have closed or are about to close because of it.
J.Crew closed on a store on Jan 2021
The reason as to why J.Crew closed in Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie in January this year is simple. Coronavirus impacted the company deeply and now they are closing stores that were hit the most. At least the Canal Place store will remain... — read more
J.Crew Chapter 11 bankruptcy
My sister and I are fighting on whether J.Crew will survive this ordeal. J. Crew filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and I can't say that I'm confident that the company will survive it. My sister says I'm a Negative Nancy tho' and she's right.
J.Crew wasn't unique enough to remain open
Crew is Roseville was a good store. It didn't stand out from the other equally good stores though, which I suppose is the reason why it's now closed. Oversaturation of such stores is a thing, you know. Sad that J.Crew was the one that had to close. — read more
Twin Cities' J.Crew leaving the area
Not that shocking to be honest. Stores like J.Crew are oversaturated and individual stores cannot survive. It's all depends on how lucky you are. Their store at Rosedale Center will close on January 26. Their other stores in the area will remain... — read more
Another round of layoffs at J.Crew
Crew just laid off about a dozen employees in their New York headquarters. The employees will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming months. I know how hard this must be for them right now, nobody likes to be jobless in this economy.
are they shuttering stores 2019
are jcrew shuttering their stores this year (2019)? Please help?
The most important trait needed for J.Crew
What's the most important skill or personality trait an employee should have, if they want to work for J.Crew? To me, two things are important: being flexible and being patient. I think if you have those two qualities you're good to go.
J.Crew closing 20 stores!!
Crew will be closing 20 stores this year, but the company itself didn't release which locations they're planning to shut down - why??? I don't get it, what do they gain by withholding that information? It just seems inconsiderate to both the... — read more

Closed? It's hard to find J.CREW stores nowadays.
Not sure if they have issues on the business side, or leases, or customers are changing - the fact is, it's hard to find a JCREW store today. Their web shop is good and I like the app, but the physical stores are a chore.
