Am I mistaken or is H-E-B doing relatively fine compared to other chains? I see the company expanding rather than closing stores and that's a great thing. Did some closures slip under my radar or is H-E-B having good luck these days?

Anybody knows why H-E-B is closing store at Memorial Drive and Dairy Ashford Road in Houston store? Were the sales really that bad? And to think I thought it was doing well...

HEB is really good, they rule in Texas, that's where they are located and they will be fine. They are not closing any stores here.

I hope things are not as bad as I see them but this HEB may be closed as nobody shops there. I was there on Wed last week (Nov 2016) and things were not looking good. The store was half empty and they were not restocking it. Also people in the stores... — read more 

I know they open stores all time - HEB is great with prices and always well supplied - I know only one store that closed in 2015, but they added many more
