Wonder what that means exactly. Didn't they file for bankruptcy a couple of years ago? Just checked and yeah they filed already in 2020.

This is so unfortunate. The Guitar Center at 422 W. Coliseum Blvd. is closing in just a few days. The store is expected to be closed for good on Jan. 30. The lease is expiring and I guess they had their reasons for not renewing it.

Guitar Center's fall from grace is so depressing. I really have a difficult time accepting the fact that they have filed for bankruptcy. I had issues with that company for some time now but I never wanted them to fail like this.

Are all Guitar Centers Closed? My local Guitar Center is closed right now but I also think it's closed permanently, though there's no way in finding that out. I'm wondering if all the stores have closed temporarily right now?

This is going to be big - we will continue to close stores and more people will lose their jobs. Is this ever going to stop? 2016 was fairly bad, but 2017 will be even worse.

Do you have a list of all Guitar Center locations that are closing. I know they had major issues, they attempted to grow to quickly and got hammered. Many stores closed in 2015 and 2016. We'll see if 2017 brings store closures to Guitar Center as... — read more 

When you buy guitars you want the inventory, you want it to be wide - this store is good and best one in Peoria... I know they closed some stores but cannot complain about it

Guitar Center was going to close some locations - is this still correct? I think they were gonna go bankrupt but somehow survived? I don't know what's going on and let's see if they close any stores
