Well. What can I say. I'm not shocked by this. Gordon Biersch is a quality chain and I liked the Harbor East location a lot. However. It hasn't been doing that great these past few months, maybe even years. It shuttered because of that.

I blame the lack of parking. Aloha Tower lost its charm ages ago so at the very least they could have done something in terms of the parking. Whatever, nothing can be done about it now since Gordon Biersch closed a couple of days ago.

I didn't even bat an eye when I read this. Gordon Biersch is too expensive for its own good. I'm sure that people didn't visit their San Diego restaurant because of it and now it's going to close next month. 79 employees will lose their jobs... — read more 

This place is so overrated. I never got its appeal. If you want to eat expensive food, do you not want it to be tasty? Who even goes to Gordon Biersch anymore? I will not be missing it. Hope they do not open another one.
