It was on local news. That's what my wife told me but I am not 100% sure that's why came here to ask.

2011 to 2016, 55 stores were opened by Gander Mountain. It's a crazy fast growth. Now, things are going south as we grew way too much and things cannot be changed.

Cedar Rapids is closing the South west side due to building a new bigger GM store on then NE side of town .

I hope all people get to keep their jobs but I hear Gander Mountain is in big trouble - I have family in WI and I am hearing that this store may close. God Bless!

They will file for bankruptcy for sure, let's see what happens. I think they are done. I hate Cabela's - I wish they went under, they are not as good as Gander Mountain, but that's business. Also Bass Pro is too expensive.

If they keep hiring circuit city rejects they will not stand a chance! I closed one store and had enough of their backward thinking. They need to work on what they carry in different locations and the PRICES are too high!!

Well, the Aurora Theater Shooter shopped here, so it's a good place to stock up on ammo.

Gander Mtn has some problems but they are not in Bowling Green for sure. Good luck all and hope no closings take place. Best!

Nothing good for GM - this is a bad year - but this is only my opinion, as I heard that BBY is adding jobs maybe GM is doing well too and not closing stores - but I doubt it - it's bad for all retailers
