Went in twice, Snellville Gander Mtn, to purchase the Colt LE6020, probably the most poplar of all AR's, and never in stock. After purchasing the Colt 6020, elsewhere, went in to buy the Vortex Spitfire 3x prism scope, again one of the most poplar scopes, and not in stock. Went a week later, thinking a shipment arrived, and one of the guys yelled out back again not to buy anything???? I stated did you get the Vortex in and he said to me no we didnt and he didnt and I said back to him after his rude comment and you wonder why I havent purchased from you yet. Evidently they work on commission but they need fresh stock. Never will I waste my time and energy visiting any Gander Mtn store. Yes, they need to close.

My expierence at The Newnan store has been fair .The biggest problem that I see is the prices. New items are about 30% over the completion . Where as the used gun selection is priced higher than the same gun when sold new . The people that work there are great . Always friendly and helpful . The problem clearly lies with the company not making good purchases to pass along to the consumer or having to wide of an expected profit margin to cover there overhead .
This is exactly why they are going bankrupt! They need to focus on customer service first, take care of the inventory and restocking. They also need to think through the list of items that they carry.
