The restaurant is still going strong and it won't be closing this year!

The restaurant shuttered in mid-June if I remember correctly and nothing could be done in that regard. The restaurant was struggling a lot, it's difficult to admit but it can't be denied in the end.

It's always disappointing to see a nice restaurant like Friendly's on 3655 South Delsea Dr close. No idea why it happened but it's not doing business in Vineland anymore....

It's only temporary they say. I hope that's true.

The news that Friendly's closed their 6 Connecticut restaurants temporarily wasn't so bad but knowing that they had layoffs at the Manchester, Williantic, Plainville, Avon, Wethersfield and Mystic locations is pretty bad... who knows if those layoffs... — read more 

Friendly's is one of my all-time favorite chains there is so it's always kinda sad when I see their restaurant be shuttered. The restaurant in Rochester, New Hampshire (an amazing restaurant BTW) will be shuttered on February 9th.

These two locations just didn't make the cut so both of them are goners now. Understandable. They're closing restaurants they consider dead weights while focusing on ones that are good. Shame that they didn't consider Levittown and Franklin... — read more 

Friendly's really is out of luck lately. They have my sympathies. Lovely chain. Another restaurant of theirs will be on the chopping block - this time, their Manchester location in New Hampshire will close on Nov. 10.

I am full of regret since I failed to eat at the Friendly's in Concord for one last time. I cannot proceed with my plans 'cause they have closed yesterday on North Main Street. It was a wonderful restaurant. I will miss it dearly.

No more Friendly's, since they have closed.

This is really sad! I especially feel really sorry for the people who work at this Friendly's, they are a nice bunch. But why are they closing their Laconia restaurant at 1160 Union Avenue in the first place? So strange.

What happened to the employees of the Sagamore Bridge Friendly's that was open in Massachusetts? Did they get a chance to transfer? I don't think that's likely. I just hope that they are doing alright since the closing of the restaurant.

I am not exactly sure why they have closed but it is a darn shame in any case. Friendly's in Falmouth on Davis Straits Rd has closed for some reason and only one restaurant of the chain remains open, the one on Route 132 in Hyannis.

I heard that - how reliable is this rumor about store closings of Friendly's Restaurants. I know it's hard to predict, but some of that real estate has to be expensive, very expensive rents.

Nothing more to add about Friendly's - it's great and I love it - more stores added, no stores closed, 2017 to be the best year on record, expansion, not closures.

Not sure if it's true - checked my maps, and it says Friendly's Seaford DE is still open but I hear opposite - that it may be closed
