The Georgia shipping center is axed by FedEx and a huge layoff is happening. Maybe it is done already but it was huge, there's no denying it. A worrisome time to be a FedEx employee, I believe.

FedEx Freight is closing 29 locations + furloughs are going to start by the end of May. The locations are closing this summer.

It's looking very bad for FedEx. The company is closing 90 or so FedEx Office locations. They're trying to cut costs and make ends meet. Maybe this will be beneficial for the company as a whole but for now things are looking grim.

The FedEx distribution center that is for now located in Halethorpe, Baltimore County will close this spring, on April 18. There are about 130 ~ employees that work there but the people at FedEx say that they won't be laid off. How come?

But I may be wrong, I see there are thousands of locations still open and some closed for FedEx - Our Kinko's closed not sure why they did that
