The San Marcos store is shuttered

Good riddance! This store was great when it first opened but all of it just went down the drain as time passed on

Nobody remembers this store anymore

I'm right, yeah? They had to close by now. I can't imagine why anyone would shop here anymore.

It happened a while ago. Not that anyone cares though. I believe I was the only one that did.

Barney's closed in Carlsbad and I don't think anyone beside myself noticed it.

Let's be real though... who is actually surprised? Barneys is a thing of the past.

I wonder if I'm asking this in vain but does anybody know when this store closed? I asked myself that this morning but I couldn't find an answer. I think it happened recently but my memory is (in)famously bad. My age is getting to me.

Their final day of being open will be this week on Sunday. February 23th will be the last day Barneys New York will be serving the public with their merchandise. It's kinda sad when you look at it from that perspective.

The store in downtown Union Square was supposed to close, not sure if they have done that.

It looks like that even the San Francisco store at 77 O’Farrell St in Union Square will be obviously closing and because of this at least 121 employees will be laid off. Horrid, but else can you expect Barneys to do in their situation? — read more

Barneys New York has initially announced that they would be closing fifteen of their stores and leave seven open, but plans have changed for the worse in my view. They will now instead close all of their stores for good.

Doing better than Neiman, IMHO - No stores are closing, things are well so far, we'll see if 2017 is better than 2016 - not a bad year but not a stellar one from the business perspective
