Is Von Maur really doing that bad as people are saying they do? Are they just alarmist when they say that they are going out of business or is there some truth to it? I dunno, I think they're doing fine. Maybe that's just me though.

Some Von Maur stores struggle performance-wise. Maybe that's why people are concerned? Though not all stores struggle so there's that too.
They're doing fine just like you said. People are just worrying about nothing.
A bit of both if you ask me. People have been saying that for ages now and Von Maur is still open for business but a little bit of caution didn't hurt anyone. Who knows, maybe next year they will be gone?
I wouldn't dismiss their worries just like that - there's the retail apocalypse and the pandemic going around after all - but I agree I think that overall Von Vaur is doing rather well.
