JOANN Fabric and Crafts was the first arts and craft chain I first fell in love with. Now the relationship is a bit hot-and-cold and much more complicated than it was decades ago, but I put my complex feelings about them aside and I have to say that the closing of the JOANN in Oakbrook Terrace was a tragedy
