Thread regarding Burger King

Burger King will stay closed permanently after all

Remember the Burger King at 655 Walnut Street that closed temporarily after some equipment malfunction this October? Well, it's gonna stay closed after all.

The higher-ups decided that it's not worth repairing the equipment at the Burger King in Des Moines so it will be closed permanently instead.

The franchise holder not making enough money? It's very much possible. From what I gathered Burger King isn't that popular in that area. I could be mistaken though.

This is the third (at least) Burger King to close in the Des Moines area in the past couple of years. I'm not sure why the Altoona Burger King closed, but the Euclid BK had a fire caused by equipment and now faulty equipment is closing another one. Is the franchise holder not making enough money to maintain the stores?
