I drove to Pier 1 on the Beltline last night to shop only to find that it is closed and the shelves are bare. I am deeply disappointed. From this consumer's perspective, closing this store was a huge mistake. Huge. I don't make it to the other stores, and probably won't. I don't like them as well and they are not centrally located. Pier 1 may be having financial difficulties, but closing this store isn't going to be advantageous to the bottom line. A much better store than the East Town and Mineral Pt Rd. stores. Lost my business.

It was a nice store, but an obvious one to close in Madison. There is very little retail left in this area. There are the Eastside and Westside locations, and that is plenty for a town this size.
Wholeheartedly agree. The closing caused me a major inconvenience.
