What a horrible ending to such great stores. Kitchen Collection struggled with their brick-and-mortar stores for a while now because they were steadily losing customers and now they will close ALL of their locations by the end of the year!

HamB was made an offer by a PE firm to liquidate. ( the one that did Toys R Us) Private equity firms and the like are behind most of the big store closings in the USA that aren't due to competition buyouts , not online retail, which made up about 11% of retail sales in 2019. Naturally as more stores close this is going to increase. But media or official reports always blame the internet or Amazon. This company actually sold online and on Amazon too at one point. PE is weird, like the companies masquerade as the original while being owned and controlled by another company.
Online pricing,people can't compete
DEPRESSING ! ! !
I hate how many brick-and-mortar stores are closing. Nothing can replace them!!!!!!
Not that hard to believe but it is still absolutely sad!
Sadly true... I read it here https://www.marketwatch.com/story/all-kitchen-collection-stores-will-close-by-the-end-of-2019-2019-10-15
