I don't know if this is just my city but these newer generations just aren't interested in traditional bridal shops anymore. The majority cannot afford such prices anymore and for others it's in vogue to create your own bridal dresses.
No more flowing white gowns for these girls... I know my niece is sewing her own bridal dress with some bright red material she got from a thrift shop, and she loves the process of creating it.
No judgement here, by the way. I don't feel strongly about this either way. Just noticed a new trend and I'm only commenting on it.
