There is nothing in Blythe. I don't see how kmart can close this store.
Are there not any people shopping there?
I can't find any information but it seems odd to me. Kmart is not going out of business so why would they close a store that is the only sore in town?

Because nobody shops there and it costs too much to keep it open and ship to this remote location. Sears is struggling and everyone in Blythe prefers to drive to billings or order from amazon or some other boxed order company. Don't blame yourselves because they likely would have to close the store anyway due to Blythe being so small of a market.
