When Radio Shack stopped being a place where I could go to buy a handful of resistors, capacitors, and a soldering iron, they lost their way. That's why they are closing.
I didn't need another place to buy a cell phone and some batteries.

They didn't lose their way, their way lost them. You can't stay in business stocking stuff just for one person.
I miss the old days too...I used to love RS, even when I didn't need stuff. Sometimes I thought up projects just walking around in there, lol.
But everything you used to get there, you can get with more choices and variety and options, cheaper, on Amazon.
