Unfortunately this trend with department store retail has been going on for awhile. The mall era of the late seventies and eighties is slowly coming to an end. It sure won't help Trumps promise for more jobs.

So what about going back to what works? Bring back the Christmas Catalogue and put things in the store your customers & your shoppers are looking for! JCP cannot dictate to it's customers what they them to buy! The reasons I came into the store was they monthly or weekly ads and the $10. off $25.00! You have stopped ALL of the reasons I and most all of my friends stopped coming into the store. Get back to the BASICS. We come to JCP because we saw something in the monthly/weekly ads and realized we needed it and headed to the store to pick it up! The stores are NOT stocked like they once were. I could always go into store and get the sheets and pillow cases I needed! JCP has become too much in your face! Step back and listen to your customers!
