Thread regarding JCPenney in Denver

Change is coming

I like buying from Amazon. I never enjoyed shopping. Going to the mall feels like a chore. When I do go to the mall I am in and out. Which is why I like buying online. I click on what I want, and in two days, it's in an Amazon locker. I can even get things that I can't easily find locally. I also love to read but I don't have the space in my apartment for tons of books. Which is why I like my Kindle.

Things are changing. Change happens. The same thing happened when the malls opened.

How many mom and pop stores lost business when the malls opened? People could walk around in climate controlled environments. A bunch of stores to choose from. You could spend all day there. And now things are changing again. Also, a lot of people are moving away from the suburbs, and closer to urban areas. So there is still the opportunity for small brick and mortar stores to make it. Especially for people who may choose to not have a car. But those stores will also need to have an online component as well. They may also have to sell on Amazon or Etsy.
