I am the only person employed in my household, and this job is important to me. I hear that we may be closing many stores in North Carolina, but I was hoping that Raleigh may stay open.

News reports say the closing list won't come out until mid March. Those same reports say that the company began installing kitchen and laundry major appliance departments in 100 or more stores. So if your JC Penney has one of those, that could be a sign your store is safe.
