I was in Newport Beach the other day and they have a massive sale. If Anthropologie has a large sale, does that mean they will be closing stores soon. I mean, they do not discount that much - Anthropologie is pretty rigid about that

I agree with Carleigh - the company is doing fairly well. I've worked at Anthropologie from 2012 to 2016 and the company is doing really well. The sales you are referring to are just a normal business practice.
I'm an employee for Anthropologie!! Our massive sales recently have been just to clear out old inventory and make way for all the new things they plan on rolling out for spring/summer. I only know of one CA store closing but it was due to poor location!
