See this:

The parent company of Hannaford supermarkets will sell eight stores in Eastern Massachusetts as part of its agreement to be acquired by the parent of Stop & Shop. The Hannaford stores include those on Hancock Street in North Quincy, Washington Street in Norwell, and Walpole Street in Norwood, the companies said in a statement Wednesday. They will be bought by Big Y, an independent chain based in Springfield. Tops Markets, a New York chain, agreed to buy one Stop & Shop store in Gardner, as well as three Stop & Shop stores and two Hannaford stores in New York. Royal Ahold NV, the Dutch company that owns Stop & Shop, agreed to buy the Brussels-based Delhaize Group, which owns Hannaford, in a stock deal valued at $10.4 billion when it was announced in June 2015.
