Yeah they just got rid of department managers at end of June I quit them beginning of June when I found out they get rid of leads and close 48 stores I looked for new job I'm now at publix and after 6 months of work your allow to go full time I was at $9.23 in 9 years at Winn Dixie and publix started me at $10

Dealt with this in n.c. with them as bi lo. Same holding company . The things happening now are almost identical to what they did there. Before becoming Southern Family Market . and then closing all stores only after 8-10 months of conversion.

Thing is, they don't give a damn about their employees. They got rid of several department manager positions in 2014 and created "lead" positions. Seversl department managers lost their jobs then. Now they're getting rid of the leads so guess, more people out of work. Four people at my store ate losing their jobs, one has neem with company for almost 30 years, another one, almost 25. My girlfriend is also gonna lose her job and she's worked for the company for almost 18 years. What a company. They need to go out of business.
