The stores will close on October 21st this year.
The reason for the closings is: crime. Theft and vandalism. Pretty serious stuff, hopefully the harm won't extend to people being hurt.
One store is closing in NY's Harlem and three are in San Francisco's Bay Area. Specific closings include Portland and Seattle OR too.
