A foreign man was yelling into his phone while talking to someone. It was so loud I had to move my sitting. When I did a nee employee told me to turn my phone down which I did and explained it was that person yelling on the phone. She and a new manager came to where I was sitting and again told me to turn the volumn down. When I pointed out it was that man speaking very loudly on his phone and laughing as he did. As I tried unsuccessfully to explain that it was not me and pointing to the man who was yelling and laughing on his phone,
they both continued to stand over me accusing me of being loud. After about five minutes of frustration I got mad a swore at them telling them to leave me along and go back to work. At this point the new manager went and got the mall guard who asked me to leave which unwillingly. Today, I went in to buy several mags that only B&N carry, at this point the same manager came up to me and told me I have been permanently banned. I said I was told by someone in Corp., that I could come back after she would leave. She told me, "No! Even when she should leave I'll still be banned from ever coming in there, again.
I have been a card member since the store opened years ago. I bring in many friends and family members for socializing, reading, and, event functions several times a week. There is a red haired girl working the coffee area, she may be able to recall this man talking and laughing in a foreign language for 10-15 minutes just before I was falsely accused of being loud. As a 100% disabled veteran and Police Officer, I have never been accused of disruptive behavior until now. And, as Minister of the church, I do not have the proclivity to lie. Even Ministers and Priest get mad and embarressed once in AWHILE.
