The news that Pick 'n Save at 2205 N. Calhoun Road in Brookfield is closing didn't come as a surprise to me. The grocery store always seemed to be empty and when the reason for the closing was revealed to be that the store under-performed I could only shrug. Like I said, I just wasn't surprised.
