I would like to know if any Yankee Candle stores will be gone by the end of this year. Anyone?

They didn't shut their doors yet but they are going to do that very soon. On January 29th we should sadly expect them to close for good in Topeka, KS. I have no idea why they are closing though. Does anyone here maybe know?

Sometimes, I just do not get store closures. I get when a store under-performs and the like but why close a busy and well-loved store? Like this Yankee Candle? What is the reasoning behind that decision? I simply just don't get it.

Some of the candle had the funkiest smell in the world, but you gotta find the silver lining in everything. They made for the best prank gifts ever and their prices weren't that bad either. Bummer that they closed their El Cajon store.

One of my co-workers said that the Yankee Candle store at 300 Monticello Avenue in Norfolk closed because of underperformance but I don't know if I can believe that. It was almost always packed when I was shopping there.

The Yankee Candle store in Paducah was one of the best Yankee Candle stores ever. I am still bitter over them closing earlier this year in late January. I feel like that Kentucky Oaks Mall location should have stayed open...

Is there any information on this store? I have not been to this area in a while but I remember this store fondly. It was one of my favorite candle stores in the past and I am curious to see if they are still doing alright.

I'm wondering does anyone know why Yankee Candle closed their Cedar Road store in Cleveland, Ohio? My aunt was obsessed with it and seeing it close really upset her. I felt really bad for her. Does anyone know if they might open again in the area?

My last two managers quit in the past three months and now the rest of us are worried. Is managing a store like ours really that hard? Or is something going to happen to our Yankee Candle store that my coworkers and me do not know about yet?

My friend heard a rumor that some closings are planned for Yankee Candle before this year ends, but his source is unreliable and I'm hoping that someone here can either clear this rumor for me (or confirm it, but that would be bad news if true).

The employees were notified on January 1st. The store is closing and the location is being vacated. Yankee Candle is closing multiple stores too - I feel bad as some of the folks working there were really good and liked their jobs a lot.

The store will close their doors in MacArthur Center later this week..but still no news if there would be closing sale.
