The Rite Aid in Pomona, CA closed. I have to be honest here, I just didn't see that coming at all. I thought that the management there had a good head on their shoulders. What did they do to mess it all up?

Been Closed Since July of 2019

This week is keeping me on my toes. Every day I hear something that surprises me. Today I learned that one of my dearest Rite Aid closed. When did the Rite Aid in Rome close? The one at 2005 Maple St SW in Georgia?

Rite Aid is closing yet another Syracuse store in February and many people are voicing their displeasure and want to keep the store open. I approve of this but I don't know if anything became of it. I hope the store at 300 W. Manlius St. stays open. — read more 

Rite Aid in Goose Hill will shutter and - get this - it will most likely be replaced as a Dollar General store. That's the last thing Schenectady needs, for real. We need less dollar stores. That Rite Aid shuttering is unnecessary as well.

The Rite Aid in the Cayuga Mall in Lansing, NY will be closing. I think that the closing will happen next month but I am not 100% sure. Does anyone have any more info? All I know is that it will be converted into a Walgreens.

Some sobering news: the Rite Aid Distribution Center in Spartanburg County in SC - that employed more than 600 workers by the way - will be closing. I'm sure that those 600 employees will be laid off. Wish them good luck.

Everyone saw this coming, but I doubt that anyone is actually happy with this. According to the representative from Walgreens, the Rite Aid location in Glen Daniel, West Virginia will close in a week or two.

Saw this morning that the Rite Aid in Lewiston on 987 Lisbon street closed a few weeks ago on June 17. I didn't know this one would close, I really thought that it would become a Walgreens instead... how sad.

The old Rite Aid store in Carthage will close February, 19.

The news is that a Rite Aid in midtown Sacramento will close permanently next month.

Rite Aid will close its pharmacy and store on Main Street in Irwin early next month.

Many are closing in KY. This one on the 4th street already closed, I think it was back in August 2018

Is it true? I hear that this Rite Aid in Encino may be subject to closing very soon. I see that the store is busy which is great but you never know. Today many shop on the internet and that's k–ling many retail locations.

Five more Rite Aids are closing, all of them in Charlotte. The stores being closed are located at 9835 Monroe Road, 4220 N. Tryon Street, 6824 Harrisburg Road, 7611 Pineville Matthews Road and 3250 Freedom Drive.

And it looks like they come in threes now - another set of three Rite Aid stores is closing. Two are in Jacksonville, NC and one is in Morehead City, NC. I wonder which three will be announced tomorrow.

Some more news on closing stores. Three more have been announced for the following two months. Flowery Branch, Gainesville and Oakwood Rite Aids will soon be no more.

The one on State street will close on June 11 while the one on Arsenal street will close a week later. I guess no store is safe until Walgreens has is 600 closures promised when acquiring Rite Aid.

One more Rite Aid is falling victim to Walgreens takeover. This time its the one in Springfield. I'm sure more is yet to come.

Suggest Walgreen purchase Rite Aid store on Pantops, Charlottesville, Va. Only Walgreen store in area is located about l0 miles away North of Charlottesville

The shelves in this store are about 30% bare, whole aisles have nothing but bare shelves.
