Gone like it never existed. That hits hard. Olympia Sports in Bridgewater was a fantastic store. The closing didn't make sense to me. This sucks so bad.

Oneonta store is permanently closed. "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish".

Sad to see such nice stores go but what can you do you know? Olympia Sports could never survive the issues it had faced so all these closings were to be expected.

I didn't know Olympia Sports in Burlington closed up so soon! I wanted to say goodbye properly to the good folks working there. I wish you guys the best and hope you can find a new job quickly!

Both stores I enjoyed going to at one point in my life. Sad this is happening.

What a bad closing! This store shouldn't be closing at all. I got all my running shoes from the Mashpee store and I never had any complaints. This is a travesty.

This is really depressing especially since I knew some of the staff personally. It's just a tragedy, people losing jobs and folks losing their favorite stores. I hate when this happens. I hate it so much.

Olympia Sports had more than 200 stores at one point. 200! But once September ends they will have zero. None! All the remaining 35 stores have entered liquidation sales. What a shame. I'm just waiting to see which other chain will announce that after... — read more

Closed for good, unfortunately. It was a decent store.

Westerly Crossings no longer has an Olympia Sports. That is such a shame. I hope that they can one day open up another one in the area but I'm most likely hoping in vain.

I'm still so pi---d that Olympia Sports closed the 1790 Black River Blvd N store. It was the best store of its kind in Rome, just what were they thinking???

Olympia Sports is closing in Clifton Park. By the end of the month the store should be expected to be closed for good. Disappointing! It was a nice store. But it's one of the 70+ stores that will be closing soon sad to say.

Another one of my beloved stores is closed and I find out about the closing way too late. The Olympia Sports location on 5 Milton Road in Rochester, New Hampshire is closed for good. Not everyone liked it but it was my favorite.

I'm missing this store already. They always, always and I mean ALWAYS carried my shoe size. I cannot explain enough how much my feet are just plain weird. I never find my size at other stores but Olympia Sports always delivers.

It's very, very, very upsetting that the store has closed in the meantime while I was away from Haverhill. It was open when I left for my vacation. What's the lesson here? Never take a vacation because your favorite Olympia Sports store might close? — read more 

Disappointing turn of events, I just have to say. I am a casual fan of Olympia Sports and while I am not tearing my hair out in grief over them closing stores, I am still kinda p-ss-d that they are closing my store in Danbury.

Lovely store! Lovely staff! But being "lovely" isn't enough sometimes! Sadly, the Olympia Sports' Newtown store in Sand Hill Plaza, 228 South Main Street will close and soon will the other 75 other Olympia Sports close as well.

Olympia Sports will close their Lockport NY store too... it is so strange to think that that store will end up disappearing sooner rather than later. I thought it might stick around for a while but I guess there's no possibility of that anymore. — read more 

Olympia Sports will close about 76 stores across the country and I was hoping against hope that my store won't be among those that will close, but sadly my store in the Burlington Mall is on the list after all.
