I'm aware of a few stores opening up again but what about those that are closing? Anyone here that knows more?

These are such dark times. I can't even believe that some chains - due to pure luck of course - are still open and are doing well - well, I say! - while a company like Lord & Taylor is considering bankruptcy because of this pandemic.

Is Lord and Taylor in Huntington NY closing forever? I can assume that it is closed now because of the pandemic but I have been wondering on whether the store will survive the aftermaths of this coronavirus crisis. Is it closing or not?

Lord and Taylor is going to close at this location soon and I'm truly heartbroken. I have so much fond memories of this store I could put them into a book. It is what it is though. The store will be missed dearly.

Lord and Taylor has filed a closing notice for their store at the Palisades Center in West Nyack. It sadly seems that they will close it in only a few months. On January 31st of next year we can expect the store to be completely gone.

This was an excellent store to be sure! The 14250 Lakeside Circle store was one of my all-time favorites. It's a huge loss for Sterling Heights that they are no longer open for business anymore. Huge, huge loss.

Just saw that the Lord & Taylor at the Tysons Corner Center has a clearance sale. Supposedly they will be leaving the location before November ends. I don't mind the closing too much. Just bought myself a few cute sweaters!

Why did they close this store? I thought they did well business wise, even though admittedly a few people had some issues with them. I sometimes didn't like the way how some employees handled the customers but other than that this store was fine.

This is so heartbreaking to learn. So many people will lose their jobs next year due to this upcoming closure. The Lord & Taylor store in the Palisades Center in West Nyack won't be open any longer come January 29th. Sad.

It's the end of an era really. The 104-year-old Fifth Avenue store is officially closed for good.

It makes no sense to close a flagship store that does tremendous business and then keep smaller stores in the suburban malls open. People come to New York to shop in department stores like Lord and Taylor. A very bad business decision.

Times really are tough if Lord & Taylor store on New York's Fifth Avenue is closing! After a century, the location is turning into WeWork's headquarters. Yup, times are changing for sure...

My wife and I have shopped at Lord and Taylor for decades. We hate to see any of those stores close, but Northbrook is our favorite. Will any Lord and Taylor stores be open in Illinois?
