Topics regarding layoffs at Fred's Super Dollar

Fred's closing 129 stores

Fred's will be eliminating yet another 129 stores across 13 states. That will be leaving them with only 80 stores when all that business is done. Anyone know which ones they will be closing ?

Don't cut costs with your staff

Fred's shouldn't be cutting costs with their employees. I've noticed how understaffed they all are, but they're expected to handle the huge workload anyway. This will only impact their stores in a bad way.

Trying to stay positive here at Fred's

It's hard to be in retail in times such as these. I like to think that we try to stay consistently true to our core values as an organization, but we're also struggling. I'm trying to stay positive and hope for the best however.

Fred's Rincon store

The store has closed but there are still u boat carts and some racks inside. Would Fred's Inc. Be willing to donate any of these to a local food pantry/ thrift store? I am interested (912)665-1985. Thanks for your time.
