The store will close. Not sure when. Not sure if it will be a Michaels either. Any info on the latter though?

It's a crying shame that Michaels is not decided on whether it will open a store at the former A.C. Moore store location on Kirkwood Highway yet since it that would have been literally a perfect choice for the chain to do so.

Michaels will after all takeover this location from A.C. Moore. I'm happy about that. Michaels is just as good as A.C. Moore.

C. Moore closed stores off Kirkwood Highway west of Wilmington but it's highly likely that Micheals will take them over. I welcome that change with open arms.

Their store closing permit is valid through March 28, so that means the store is a goner then.

Will they turn into a Michaels? I hope so. Michaels has actually good sales going on.

So, it looks like that this location won't be open for business any longer. I know this is pointless to ask considering what happened to the chain.. but why close it? Gosh, the store was great! It had everything you would ever need.

I'll miss this store a lot. I know it wasn't the best out of the bunch but it was my A.C. Moore store after all

Is this store turning into a Michaels or will it close altogether? Michaels is a bit pricier but their stuff is much more high quality than A.C. Moore's ever was. Sorry not sorry. I'm just telling it how it is, no hard feelings.

It is what it is but it's kinda disappointing that A.C. Moore will shutter this store. Can't it be turned into a Michaels? I think that would be beneficial for everyone involved, right? It would suit the store to be a Michaels too.

Hate that they're closing! I love all of their decor. Their floral ones especially, since they are the only store that doesn't carry tacky, tasteless ones! I hope that fact doesn't change when they become Michaels. Will they become a MIchaels?

This one is closing in Brick, but I'm not sure if it will turn into a Michaels. I know that a couple of New Jersey stores will close but then reopen after some time has passed. I'm not certain if Brick will be among those who will reopen though.

This store is no longer open FYI. I was devastated when I found out. At least Michaels is still around.

In a very predictable turn of events - after all, A.C. Moore is closing all of their stores - A.C. Moore will lay off 259 employees in Maryland. This is especially sad since most of these people have been working at those stores since day one.
